More than 200 bones and ossicles are involved in the formation of the human skeletal system

🍁 The bones that play a role in the formation of the spine and pelvis make up the core part of the body

🍁 Long bones connected to the axial system make the organ part of the body

🍁 The place where individual bones connect to each other is called a joint, of course, not all joints necessarily have movement, for example, the joint between the bones of the head does not have movement, and on the contrary, there are joints that have a wide range of movement, such as the shoulder joint.
In terms of structural design, there are two types of bones in the body
The first type: It includes long bones and the femur is an example
The second type: broad, short bones, small bones, such as the kneecap

Bones are divided into two groups in terms of structural type
The first type: spongy bones like vertebrae, which are porous like a sponge
The second type: hard bones, such as the tibia, which are made of a dense layer

🍁 Materials that make up bones: It consists of two parts, the superior part which contains fibers called collagen and has the role of a scaffold, and the mineral part including calcium and phosphate is on it.
Like reinforced concrete rebars, collagen fibers act as scaffolding and calcium acts as concrete

☘ Other components of the skeletal system of the body

Besides bone, other elements also play a role in the skeletal structure
1- Ligament: The scientific name is the ligament that connects two bones and prevents them from moving.

2- Muscle: It is the same muscle that plays the role of moving the bones and it is made up of two parts, the fleshy part and the same as the trunk and also the end part which is in the form of a strip and is connected to the bone and is called tendon or yellow pi.
