Knee dislocation

Knee dislocation The knee joint is made up of the intersection of the femur and leg bones, and its stability is mostly provided by the ligaments and muscles around it, and the shape of the bones does not have much effect on its stability. Knee dislocation is one of the most dangerous types of dislocation among large joints Due to the passage of the vital artery of the lower limb behind the knee, there is a possibility of damage to this artery during the knee joint, which endangers the life of the member. For this reason, the first step for a person who has suffered a knee dislocation is to check the blood supply and pulse of the limb, and after the dislocation, he should be under direct observation for 2-3 days. For a complete dislocation of the knee, at least two of the main ligaments of this joint must be torn

Usually, this injury occurs after very strong blows, but some kind of dislocation may occur in overweight people with low pressure. Dislocation may occur in different directions, but the most common direction is anterior dislocation 🌷 If a person suffers a knee dislocation, if the distance to the treatment center is not too far, the limb should be fixed in the same position and sent, otherwise, it should be moved by a skilled person. The big challenge in these patients after this injury is the subsequent treatments and restoring the joint to its normal condition. Most of these people will experience some degree of instability as well as limitation of joint movement
