The patellar tendon is connected to a part of this area, and the child's activity causes it to be stretched and stimulated.
This stimulation causes inflammation and pain, and sometimes excessive growth of the bone causes a bulge in the area. 🌹 Diagnosis is made by examination and sometimes radiography 🌹 For treatment, the first step is to reassure the parents that the disease is not dangerous and will end with the completion of the child's growth 🌹 Controlling the child's activity and weight, using knee braces during sports activities, and sometimes body casts are included in the next stages of treatment.
